Sat. and Sunday
Well, I didn't really adhere to my diet over the weekend. I was really busy and had to eat on the go a lot. My daughter also brought home a bag of Heath mini bars and until Sat. I had done good just having 1 or 2 a day-but I had a serious chocolate craving and ate many, many more over the weekend. I did keep my calories at 1880 on Sat. and 1700 on Sunday. I was too busy to workout. I excused this behavior by saying that I had only had the okay to diet/exercise for 1 week from my Dr. and that week was used as a transition from eating whatever to eating more conscientitiously. This week, I am really dedicating myself to working out 30 min. 5 times this week and ahereing to the guidelines of my diet. Typically, if I follow this diet, I lose 3-4 lbs a week and it's not hard to follow, but I have to write down what I eat, so I know what I can have and what I have already had for the day.

I cannot follow a diet well on the weekends at all. That is why I am trying to focus on being REALLY good during the week. LAst week I did cardio 30 minutes Mon-thru Friday and either the wii fit or toning 30 mins also. That is my goal agin this week. I would like to evetually motivate to excercise on the weekends also.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's hard to stick to. My goal is pretty much the same-stick to diet/exercise program during the week and then just make an effort to eat healthy and get in some activity on weekends-even if it's just running errands.
